“DOH Caraga reports today , 174 RT-PCR results received from Southern Philippines Medical Center and Davao Regional Medical Center sub-national laboratories,” it said.
Of the 39 samples that came back positive for COVID-19, 25 were follow-up tests of previously confirmed positive cases, while 14 were new cases. Of the 14 new cases, eight were locally stranded individuals , while six were returning overseas Filipinos . All cases were asymptomatic, and were admitted and isolated at designated quarantine facilities region-wide for monitoring and management, DOH-CHD report said. Out of the 190 confirmed cases, 90 have already recovered from the virus.
