The remains of two Filipino fishermen who died when a bridge in Taiwan collapsed arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 Thursday morning.

The remains of George Impang and Andree Serencio arrived onboard China Air flight CI 703. They were among those who perished when the 140-meter long single-arch bridge tumbled down onto the fishing boats on Taiwan’s east coast last Tuesday.

The remains of the third Filipino fatality, fisherman Romulo Escalicas Jr., is set to be repatriated on October 16 due to some document issues. On hand to receive the remains were new Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Administrator Leo Hans Cacdac, and new Deputy Administrator Mocha Uson.
