Blackpink 's Lisa scammed by ex-manager: report

A former manager at K-pop company YG Entertainment swindled a billion won (or over P41 million) from Lisa of the girl group Blackpink, a Korean entertainment news site reported Tuesday.A Korean news outlet earlier reported that the manager, identified only as "A," exploited connections and received money from Lisa, pretending to help the 23-year-old Thai performer look into real estate, according to the Soompi story.

Lisa, whose real name is Lalisa Manoban, reportedly lost all her money when the manager spent it on gambling.YG Entertainment later confirmed the news story and apologized for the incident, according to Soompi, which published the company's statement.
