With only one active COVID-19 case among persons deprived of liberty and no new case in eight days, the BJMP is looking to allow noncontact visits in its detention facilities soon.

The pandemic had prompted the BJMP to limit PDL families to virtual visits or e-dalaw.

“We would like to announce that as of this minute, we only have one remaining active COVID-19 case in our jail,” Chief Inspector Xavier Solda, spokesperson for the BJMP told a virtual press briefing on Sunday.FEATURED STORIES
