A Catholic bishop urged prelates to seek help if they are experiencing mental health problems.

Diocese of Novaliches Bishop Roberto Gaa said that there are some instances where it is not enough to just pray.“Importante na marunong kang pangalagaan ang sarili mo kasi tao pa rin tayo ,” Gaa said in an interview over Church-run Radyo Veritas.

“Meron tayong mga trauma na pinagdaanan dati, meron tayong pang-taong pangangailangan, meron tayong mga problema na pinagdadaanan na minsan ay hindi rin nakukuha sa dasal ,” he added.“Sana ay meron tayong expert to initiate yung awareness na kailangan alagaan din natin ang sarili natin ,” he said. “Kailangan din talaga— parang hindi naman mga superman ang mga pari…tao pa rin ang mga pari. Magandang makita na tugunan din ang mga ganyang klaseng pangangailangan .”
