With more than 19,000 individuals vaccinated in Binangonan, Rizal during the Bayanihan Bakunahan on Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, the local government hailed all the volunteers who took part in the mass vaccination campaign..

The office of Mayor Cesar Ynares, in a Facebook post, thanked all those who rendered their services to the municipal government during the three-day Bayanihan, Bakunahan.

The municipal government said the volunteers are the true heroes during the country’s fight against the coronavirus disease as they have rendered their time for the national vaccination days. “Maging inspirasyon sana and inyong kabayanihan sa ating mga kababayan sa paglaban sa pandemic na ito ,” the municipal government said.

Municipal Administrator Russel Ynares told Manila Bulletin that a total of 19,772 residents received the jab from November 29 to December 1 in various vaccination sites in the municipality. Of the total figures, 16,328 received their first dose; 2,002 got their second dose, while 1,442 received their booster shot.
