Microspace greenhouse project bags the best proposal award in the 2021 National Department of Science and Technology Scholars’ Summit .
“Balay” is a play on the words “Bahay ng Gulay.” It is intended to address the effects of the pandemic on food production and security. The proposal was developed by the DOST-IX Scholar’s Initiative Club Zamboanga . The team was also the only tertiary school outside Luzon to move to the final round.
