Two women—a manager, and entertainer of a bar—who allegedly peddle party drugs in clubs in Makati City were arrested during a buy-bust operation inside their bar on Tuesday afternoon.Major Gideon Ines Jr., Makati Police Investigation Unit chief, identified the suspects as 32-year-old Karylle Tecson, a bar manager, and 22-year-old Janine Sibug, a bar entertainer.

Around 4:30 p.m., policemen apprehended the two bar employees after they accepted the marked money from a police asset inside a bar located along P. Burgos St. in Barangay Poblacion, Makati, a police report said.Seized from Tecson and Sibug were 10 ecstacy tablets and the P3, 000 marked money. The tablets have an estimated street value of P25, 000, police said.“Most of their patrons are foreigners. We also learned that they are also selling drugs in adjacent bars,” Ines said.

“We suspect that the suppliers of party drugs are rich people from Quezon City who were previously nabbed for drug peddling, but were freed because of technicalities,” he said.
