Art collector Allan Ancheta releases his first book titled “Fusion,” taking readers through the wonders of appreciating and collecting art, especially at a time when art can bring solace.

Art collector Allan Ancheta guides readers through the how-tos of art collecting.

Launching his book on Manila FAME’s new digital event FAME+ Market Days, which runs until today, Oct. 22, Ancheta showcases artworks by Filipino talents featured in The Cabinet at Canterbury, an art gallery he built with his wife, Jas, inside their home in Manila. The collector spotlights artists from various disciplines and backgrounds, promoting the diversity of the local art scene.

He features the emotionally driven abstract works of Ben-Hur Cabana, who trained under Romulo Olazo; Khristina Manansala’s art inspired by childhood memories and religious themes, reminiscent of the works of her grandfather Vincent Manansala; and Nixxio Castrillo, son of the late Eduardo Castrillo. An essential book for art enthusiasts and collectors alike, “Fusion” tells a story of the transformative role of art in one’s life. The book will be available at jasanchetainteriors.com and Jas Ancheta Interiors on Facebook and Instagram.Get the latest lifestyle news delivered to your inbox
