Armed Forces to transport over 4,000 national ID registration kits to target areas

THE Armed Forces of the Philippines will assist in transporting more than 4,000 National ID registration kits to 655 cities and municipalities in the country, the Department of National Defense said on Friday.

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana approved the request of Acting National Economic and Development Authority Secretary Karl Kendrick Chua for assistance from the AFP.NEDA and PSA want to accelerate the implementation of PhilSys with the registration of at least five million household heads from low-income families by the end of this year.
