Vice President Leni Robredo announced the milestone in a recent Facebook post noting the increase in profit of the Community Mart at the Pasig Mega Market came 45 days after the launch of the e-market project in the area.“We hit another milestone with our Community Mart at the Pasig Mega Market…This means more income for our vendors and tricycle drivers,” she wrote in a Facebook post.
The vice president thanked Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto and his team for supporting the project she spearheaded. ”Pasig City has really led the way through its empowering, empathic and ethical leadership,” Robredo said. The mobile app, which is downloadable from the App Store and Google Play, aims to help small market vendors have their fruits, meat, vegetables, and other food items delivered by tricycle drivers via same-day service.
