Elderly residents with senior citizens identification cards can go directly to a vaccination site in Angeles City on Monday and Tuesday for inoculation against COVID-19, the city government announced.

The city government said in its Facebook page that “walk-in” senior citizens will be welcome at the vaccination site in the City College of Angeles. The site opens at 8 a.m.While not specifically saying what brand will be administered, the city government said it will be a “single dose” vaccine intended only for elderly. Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen is the only single dose vaccine against COVID-19.

The city appealed to elderly residents who intend to be vaccinated during the “walk-in” period to refrain from asking city hall staff to also vaccinate their companions.
