The number of active COVID-19 cases in Zambales reached another all-time high as health officials reported more than 100 new infections in two consecutive days.

According to the provincial health office, at least 116 new infections were reported on Wednesday and 129 new infections were logged on Thursday. These figures raised to 1,082 the province’s active cases, surpassing the record-high 1,054 on Sept.
