Police arrested 46 persons in a series of anti-illegal gambling operations in Quezon City over the weekend.

According to Quezon City Police District chief Police Brig. Gen. Antonio Yarra, three of the suspects were nabbed by operatives of Masambong Police Station and Batasan Police Station while engaging in illegal numbers game.

Members of other QCPD stations apprehended 34 individuals involved in a “tupada” or illegal cockfighting.All 46 suspects are now detained in police stations and will be charged with illegal gambling before the QC Prosecutor’s Office.
