MANILA - Four ticket sellers of the MRT-3 tested positive for COVID-19, along with 1 train driver and 1 staff nurse, the railway's management said on Sunday.
Following this, all MRT-3 personnel at its depot, stations and trains are now required to wear personal protective equipment which includes face masks, face shields, gowns and gloves. "The MRT-3 management assures that this health and safety protocol is being strictly followed to ensure the health and welfare of its employees and passengers," a statement posted on the railway's Facebook page said.
"Aside from RT-PCR testing, the MRT-3 management also conducts contact tracing within one to three days of the release of the RT-PCR tests. The identified primary contacts for those who tested positive for COVID-19 will be placed in quarantine and will be given priority in RT-PCR testing."
Just imagine how many people have touched the tickets released by these 4 ticket sellers or the cash change they receive from paying for their tickets.... 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
While this is not fine, we should not worry much. Remember of all those tested, 5.1% is asymptomatic, BIG CHUNK 94.3% are MILD, ONLY 0.6% are severe and critical. This is not death sentence, fear not and carry on. Mas marami pa ngang nagpapakamatay pag na-break ng syota.
Omg!
tataas pa kaso sa Pilipinas. . . dami na silang nakasalamuha. 😔
So the 4 ticket sellers may have passed Covid to the passengers..
😱😱😱😱😱😱
