4 in 5 Filipinos say 'strict stay at home' measures 'worth it' to fight COVID19

MANILA - Four in 5 Filipinos believe "strict stay-at-home measures" are "worth it" to address the spread of COVID-19, an independent Social Weather Stations survey released Thursday showed.

The respondents were only given those 2 answers to choose from when asked for their opinion on "strict stay at home measures," SWS said, without using the word "lockdown." The number of people who approve of quarantine measures was highest in Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, and Visayas at 84 percent, versus Mindanao at 81 percent.
