BUTUAN CITY - A 4.0 magnitude earthquake jolted Zamboanga del Norte province Wednesday morning, Feb. 26, 2020, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

– A 4.0 magnitude earthquake jolted Zamboanga del Norte province Wednesday morning, Feb. 26, 2020, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.The epicenter was plotted 44 kilometers southwest of Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte province, it said.The state volcanology agency said Intensity 1 was also registered in mainland Zamboanga City.

The Zamboanga Peninsula Office of Civil Defense and provincial disaster risk reduction and management council both reported no damage or injury.
