Easterlies to bring scattered rain showers over Visayas and Masbate

Visayas and Masbate will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Sunday due to the easterlies, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.

Flash floods or landslides may possibly result during times of moderate to heavy rains.

The eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon meanwhile are being affected by the ridge of a high pressure area extending over the area.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. PAGASA said flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate in the seaboards of Luzon, and slight in Visayas and Mindanao.
