Benj Manalo mourns the passing of his mother Anna Lyn: 'Thank you for leading this family'

Benj Manalo mourned the passing of his mother Anna Lyn who died last Friday, January 14.

On Instagram, Benj posted a photo of himself hugging his mother's urn.

"Dear mommy, thank you for everything, thank you for all the life lessons you’ve shown us, this week was a rollercoster ride but it ended up in full restoration," Benj wrote in the caption of her post.

"Love, hope, peace, joy, sadness and family.. these are the things/knowlege that you left us and will be forever be treasured in our heart. You are a testimony to us," he added.

Benj said his mom is "a testimony of Gods love to His children."

"We are saddened that you have to went through all of those. But we are happy that you are now in His kingdom," he wrote.

"You may sing and dance now and enjoy eternal life with God. You will be missed by your children, your sisters and everyone who loves you," he added.

Benj ended his note thanking those who have sent their condolences to their family.

"Thank you for leading this family. I love you so much mommy. We love you. Rest now mom," he wrote.

Benj's wife Lovely also paid tribute to her late mother-in-law with a post on Instagram.

Anna Lyn is the estranged wife of comedian Jose Manalo. Together, they have four children namely Benj, Myki, Ai, and Niccolo. —JAB, GMA News.
