, Peugeot Philippines has officially revealed the all-new 2008. Serving as the brand's latest offering yet, the next-generation 2008 combines sleek and aggressive looks, high-tech and practical features, and a turbocharged powertrain.
Size-wise, the 2008 measures 4300mm long, 1770mm wide, and 1550mm tall. It also has a generous wheelbase of 2605mm, plus 174mm of ground clearance. With its current dimensions, the 2008 could take on the likes of the Toyota Corolla Cross, Honda HR-V, Kia Seltos, and MG ZS T. Powering the 2008 is a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine. Despite its humble size, the tiny motor puts out an impressive 130 PS at 5500 rpm along with 230 Nm of torque that's readily available at 1750 rpm. Like its bigger siblings, the 2008 is only available with a six-speed automatic transmission with manual select. Drivers can also select from three driving modes; Normal, Eco, and Sport.
