2 pilots hurt in plane crash off Batangas coast

Capt. Eugene Avila and his co-pilot Capt. Armando Ducat sustained minor injuries after their Piper Aztec multi-engine plane crashed and submerged 17 meters beneath the sea near Barangay Papaya in Nasugbu, authorities said.The plane was bound for Sangley Point in Cavite from Cuyo, Palawan when the incident occurred around 1 p.m., initial investigation showed.
