The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday reported 158 more personnel who tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of active cases in the police organization to 2,730.

Based on PNP data, 47,465 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the police organization since the start of the pandemic. Of the number, 44,609 have already recovered while 126 had died.

Meanwhile, 217,616 of PNP personnel are already fully vaccinated against COVID-19, while 6,615 are still awaiting their second dose. A total of 74,349 have received booster shots, pushing the country’s total infections to 3,442,056, the Department of Health said.
