MANILA, Philippines — More than 100 new cases of coronavirus disease were recorded in the Philippine National Police, bringing the total count of cases in the police force to 2,732.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, PNP documented a total of 111 additional cases which is a record-high daily increase in the police organization.Of the 111, most of the cases were reported from Metro Manila police with 43, Mimaropa police with 40 and 12 from Calabarzon. A 46-year-old police non-commissioned officer from the National Capital Region Police Office is the latest fatality in PNP. This raises the total count of deaths to 13.
