Zulum defends B’Haram members’ reintegration - Punch Newspapers

THE Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has said over 2,600 insurgents who surrendered are in custody but said not all of them are criminals.

Zulum said this while briefing State House Correspondents after a meeting with the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday. The governor, however, said those who surrendered will be trained for reintegration, saying, “No law recommends the killing of insurgents who willingly turned themselves in.”

Suffice to say that I used to have tremendous respect for ProfZulum. Used to have so much respect for man🤦🏾‍♂️

I so much love this man before but he has lost my loyalty and respect for him to be saying this

This is part of their game plan to turn Nigeria to an Islam state. Following the trend of the taliban

The same Zulu will come out again tomorrow begin Dey cry like baby

Can you imagine this coming from zulum, the Governor of the host community. OgbeniDipo

....this is serious

Why then should anyone be in jail in Nigeria? They should all get clemency!. Such double standards.

meanwhile

Of course, we can't kill our soldiers that we'll need against the south one day,

Sometimes, I wonder if the Hausa/Fulanis’ enjoy being killed
