What Super Falcons coach said after exit from 2019 Women’s World Cup

Nigeria women’s coach, Thomas Dennerby, has insisted his side improved a lot, despite crashing out of the Women’s World Cup in Grenoble on Saturday.

It means the African champions will now depart, after only one win at the tournament – a 2-0 win over South Korea in the group stages. “It’s important to play high-level teams like Germany because the players can see that even the smallest mistakes get punished.
