Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum has charged his players to not get complacent ahead of their final group game against Burundi at the ongoing 2022 Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

“Every squad, every team are fully capable of causing problems for us, so we have to respect that. We can’t overlook Burundi, we have to go into the game with a lot of commitment. As far as the pressure goes, every game is pressure.” He said.“Christy came and played great, as did Gift . It’s a good thing that we have a lot more options, we have Uchenna Kanu who hasn’t started for us yet but she’s a very good player, fully capable of starting for us as well.

“We’ve got a good young player in Macleans who got in in the last few minutes but we would like to see more of her. We’ve got the likes of Francesca Ordega, I mean we’ve got a lot of talent so we just need to make the decisions on which ones are the best combinations to play up front. “I would expect you will see them all, whether some start or they don’t, that final decision hasn’t been made yet.”All rights reserved.
