The Lagos State has established the right of way to pave the way for seamless execution of public projects.

A statement issued by the government said the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr Idris Salako, stated that the establishment of Right of Way for Projects in Lagos State was to pave the way for the socioeconomic development of the state. He was quoted to have said, “The delivery of Right of Way for public projects is a pro-development endeavour with the ultimate relief of ease of connectivity and socioeconomic development that is bound to sprout as a result of the road construction.”

The statement added that establishing the RoW was not focused on removing encroaching private properties alone, but extended to all public facilities that needed to shift for a given project to birth successfully.
