UNIZIK staff protest kidnap of colleague, task Obiano

Though, a peaceful protest, but the protesters bore placards with various inscriptions bordering on the whereabouts of their member, who was said to have been kidnapped at his Nibo residence in Awka-South local government area of the state on 25th October last year.

She said “up till now, we have not seen nor heard from and his destination is neither known by his wife, family members and friends. Nwangwu noted that though SSANU was aware of the efforts of security agencies and Unizik management in trying to ensure the release of her member alive l, she that the relevant authorities should expedite action for him to regain his freedom and join his family .

Prof. Chukwulobelu also that the state government has not gone to bed on the matter and has been conducting investigations underground to nail his abductors and reunite him with his immediate family.
