When did you start supporting ManchesterI’ve always liked David Beckham, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Rio Ferdinand. I’ve loved the club but I became a full fan in 2006 after Liverpool won the UEFA Champions League. I supported Liverpool to win and they did and I was extremely happy but the next season, I said I needed a permanent team and United was it.
How have you been able to cope as a fan through the thick and thin since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure? When I get bantered, I start to quote history. I ask them if they’ve won the treble like we did but seriously the club’s situation is as a result of the way Ferguson left it. I think it would have been better if he properly scrutinised candidates for the position instead of appointing his countryman.I also think people don’t talk about how Ferguson exhausted the team before he left.
