A Tuesday morning accident has caused gridlock at the Kara axis along the Lagos Ibadan expressway.
The accident which involved two articulated vehicles, a truck and a tanker, kept motorists squeezing out as the lanes become narrow due to the obstruction.Members of the Federal Road Safety Corps and police were on the ground to ease and direct motorists who slowly navigated their way out of the gridlock.See photos from the accident below…
And Raji Fash said our roads are of global standard. If you check the cause of the accident, you will discover is as a result of failed roads that we have in the country.

The rate of accidents on Nigeria roads with attendant lost of lives is highly disturbing. Many of the roads are in terrible shapes. Some drivers are not fit for driving while many vehicles should be off the roads. Multiple issues every where in our country, Nigeria.
The fact that same thing is happening almost every week or month and nothing productive is done about it is of great concern. Nothing works in this country, absolutely nothing. Well except corruption, corruption works so well it could be case studied.
