Three Ogun teachers beaten by hired thugs, parents arrested - Punch Newspapers

A secondary school student, Joshua Joseph, and his parents, on Tuesday, allegedly hired thugs who invaded the Toyon High School, Ere, Ado-Odo, in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

This is coming a few weeks after the mandatory undertaking forms were signed by parents, as part of efforts to curb such acts in the state. Our correspondent learnt that Joshua had been earlier prevented from entering his classroom because of his hairstyle.But Joshua was said to have returned to the school with his mum and the thugs, who attacked the teachers.

“I told them that if we could not tell him to cut his hair, all of them should leave my office. I gave them his bag and told them to go and teach him at home. They went out and I started to hear noises on the school premises. They started beating the teachers. They smashed the windscreen of a car parked in the school.

answer in class. I will do more than this if you touch my kids, I go beat you till your kids won't be able to recognise you either, you are to teach. Flogging is meant for animals. Our kids are human beings. I repeat. This is very small to what I will do to any teacher that flog

Touch not favorite and do my kid no harm..Let them learn how to teach student/pupils without beating them, these teachers abuse their power, we all went through the same when some stupid teachers will flog you not less than 15 strokes because you came late or gave a wrong
