He disclosed that the incident happened at about 3. a.m. in the morning when many of the community people were still in bed. It was gathered that some of the victims were rushed to the State University teaching hospital, Oghara. Okowa who was accompanied by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Sherrif Oborevwori and Secretary to the State Government, Patrick Ukah, commended the Fire Service for the prompt response and advised the community to keep off from the scene, in addition to being vigilant to avoid loss of life as the government was working hard to contain the spread of the explosion.
MEANWHILE, a gang of suspected armed robbers yesterday attacked a bullion van belonging to one of the new generation banks and carted away an undisclosed amount of money.
