It was recently rumoured that no fewer than 30 VGN members were killed in a clash with bandits in Karal forest of Gassol Local Government Council of Taraba State.
Admitting that scores were killed by the bandits, those killed, according to him, were not members of the VGN, but members of the Fulani Vigilante Kautal Kore. The commandant, who said the VGN would continue to collaborate with all the security outfits operating in the State to flush out hoodlums, beckoned at well meaning individuals and organizations not to cease from extending helping hands to the group.
The local Vigilantes, as gathered by DAILY POST, were on their way to one of the forests to flush out the hoodlums when they ambushed and killed them.
