The National Association Of Nigerian Students (NANS) ZONE D, has called on the Lagos State Police Command to begin a full investigation into the

controversies surrounding what it called the unfortunate but preventable death of Sylvester Oromoni, a 12-year-old student of Dowen College, Lagos.

The body said it was “disheartening and sardonic that the institution’s management is trying its best to sweep the matter under the carpet by not just changing the story behind the death of the young general but equally hiding the identities and faces of the perpetrators of the capital crime.” According to a statement made available to DAILY POST on Sunday by the NANS Zone D Coordinator, Adetunji Emmanuel, the students charged the Ministry of Education to withdraw the operational license issued to Dowen College, alleging that “the school has proceeded to online classes despite the shutting down of the said institution the by Lagos State Government.

The association also urged the Lagos State Government and other South West states to approve the constitution of PTA in all public and private schools.
