Survivors of Awkuzu SARS say squad sold body parts of executed victims –Nwanguma, RULAAC Exec Dir

Okechukwu Nwanguma is the Executive Director, Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre, an organisation that promotes justice for victims of human rights violation and has handled several cases of human rights violation by the Nigeria Police. He tells ALEXANDER OKERE how the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the security agency became an organised ‘criminal entity’He was an indigene of Ede in Osun State. His parents are also dead.He was survived by two children – a boy and a girl.

He was buried in Ede on Sunday . With his death, I know life would never be the same again. He had plans to take good care of me and the children if his financial situation improved. He was working very hard to earn more money and take better care of us. I want the relevant authorities to properly investigate his death. Life should be sacred but it is sad that some people just kill others without being challenged. His death has stripped me naked. His death must be properly investigated.

Everyone of those psychopathic SARS killers must be brought to justice. They MUST answer for their crimes. It is the very least required to assuage the angry youths and victim families.
