Love you forever mummy.” Since the announcement on her page, her colleagues in the entertainment industry have flooded her page with condolence messages to console the grieving actress.

Andrea Chika Chukwu wrote, “Ooh dear God. I am so sorry sweetie sending you hugs and praying with you. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”While actress Halima Abubakar wrote, “Am so sorry sis.” Stella Damasus won the Award for Best Actress at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards in 2007. She was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2009. In 2012, she won the award for Best Actress for the movie Two Brides and a Baby at the Golden Icons Academy Awards in Houston, Texas.
