The leadership of the Movement or the Survival of Ijaw Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta, (MOSIEND), has issued a warning to the President of the

Arewa Youth Consultative Movement, Mallam Kabiru Yusuf, to stay clear from issues concerning the Niger Delta region and not put salt on the already existing injuries of the people.

Recall, that Malam Kabiru had earlier described in a publication, alleged hijack and politicisation of the spill at the OML 29 Oil Well 1 in Nembe local government area of Bayelsa State, operated by Aiteo Eastern Exploration and Production Company . In a statement, sent to DAILY POST on Tuesday through the Vice President of MOSIEND, Thompson Fuoye, said ordinarily, the group would have ignored the position of AREWA, and not reacted to an insane perception from a man who sees nothing wrong in the different degrees of the murder of innocent citizens of the country on daily basis in his region.

”Why will u prefer to talk about the issues of oil and gas rather than the death of innocent Nigerians being killed daily in the hands of these criminals.
