The advice was given by an APC stalwart in the state, Alhaji Sanusi Baba Takko, who said the the advice became imperative in order for the party to avoid a repeat of the past.
According to him, today’s congress should be conducted in the overall best interest of the party and in the interest of justice and good conscience not only in Bauchi State but also across the country. This, he said, was to enable APC to be well positioned ahead of the 2023 election for it to be able to wrestle power from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in the state.
“Interestingly, it is on record, as every member of the party knows the task ahead of us, to defeat an incumbent governor is a very herculean task.
