A director at the Sokoto State Commodity Board, Hassan Bello, has been remanded in a correctional centre over an alleged N1.3 million job scam.

Bello was arraigned before the Federal High Court sitting in Sokoto on Wednesday on one count-charge bordering on fraud by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission .The Prosecution Counsel, Mr Hannafi Sa’ad, noted that the accused committed the offence sometime in August 2021.
