Six coronavirus patients found on oil rig, says NPA

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the General Manager, Corporate and Strategic Communication, NPA, Mr Adams Jatto on Friday.It stated that Lagos had 12 new cases and six of them were found on a vessel. The two parties, NPA and NCDC held a meeting on Friday, where the centre clarified the update and said the six patients were found on the oil rig.

The issue happened offshore and the vessel sailed to Anchorage in Lagos but did not enter port so let's relax and stop panicking

Dear Punch, please ensure you also confirm things before publishing. Siem Marlin is an offshore construction and Supply vessel and not an oil rig. OSV's are also vessels as they are self propelled and has all regular crew members like all vessels.
