Primary health care centres in Niger State are experiencing acute shortage of family planning commodity across the 25 local government areas, the

Executive Director, State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr Ibrahim Ahmed Dangana, has disclosed.

The ED, who hinged the shortage to increased campaign embarked upon by the agency in the state, said more women are presently accessing the family planning services at the centres. The Executive Director thanked all the stakeholders for their efforts and resilience in improving the health outcome of Nigerlites.

The Niger State FP Coordinator, Mrs Dorcas Abu, during her presentation disclosed that the state has recorded a remarkable success in the program across the state in recent years.
