Resumption of hearing in the case instituted by Maryam Sherif, divorced wife of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar – son of former Vice President, for custody of their children, was stalled on Thursday.Abubakar is the son of Nigeria’s former Vice President of the same name.
The matter had come up on Thursday for the report of out of court settlement as was agreed in the previous sitting in court.Sherif was in court with her lawyer, but learnt the matter would not hold as the judge, it was gathered, was out of town.
