Seyi Makinde: Atiku reacts to Oyo Governor’s assets declaration - Daily Post Nigeria

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde’s assets declaration.

DAILY POST had reported that Makinde on Monday fulfilled his campaign promise to publicly declare his assets. The Governor, who visited the Oyo state office of the Code of Conduct Bureau in Ibadan to receive a copy of the asset declaration form said that his decision to make the assets public was in fulfillment of a personal promise, he made during the elections.Reacting, Atiku on his verified Twitter handle, on Tuesday, described Makinde as “the trailblazing PDP governor.”

‏He wrote: “@seyiamakinde, the trailblazing PDP governor of Oyo State’s feat in publicly declaring his assets is a testament to integrity and accountability worthy of emulation. –AA.”
