This aspect directly touches the interests of the majority of the inhabitants of the African continent. You are well aware that a critical rise in prices is very likely to be followed by political instability, unrest, and even war.
He further gave instances of how the shortage of wheat supply had caused a sharp increase in the prices of bread in Nigeria and other African countries. “For example, Egypt heavily depends on food supplies from Ukraine and is the second buyer of Ukrainian grain after China.
Even before the invasion,prices of food had skyrocketed.
I don't think that the war in Ukraine is the cause of food scarcity in Nigeria. Nigeria should be food sufficient but boko boys and their agents are attacking farmers ,extorting money as ransom from them, so how do you want them to go back to the farm after financial loses.
