He said that former Governor Abdul Aziz Yari and Senator Kabiru Garba Marafa are leading one faction while Governor Matawalle has his own faction, saying that the two factions are at war over who controls the soul of the party in the state. “Even if the ward congress was allowed to be held in Zamfara State, it would have been a showdown for political supremacy between Governor Matawalle and former Governor Yari,” he said.
