are hoping to negotiate with Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr to have trio Leon Balogun, Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey report late to the team’s camp for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations.

According to Daily Record, Rangers will hope both players, who are likely to make the Eagles AFCON squad, can play against Celtic on January 2. According to FIFA rules, clubs should release their players on December 27 for the tournament, which kicks off January 9.But Mailsport understands Rangers are confident of successfully negotiating with the Nigeria Football Federation and Rohr for the players to report for duty after the Celtic clash.
