The average price for refilling a 5kg for Liquefied Petroleum Gas, otherwise known as cooking gas increased, year-on-year, from N2,215 in August to N2,397 in September.

The report also stated that Osun, Edo and Lagos states paid the lowest average price for refilling a 5kg cylinder in the month under review. It added, “Similarly, average price for the refilling of a 12.5kg cylinder for LPG increased by 36.55 per cent month-on-month and by 49.97 per cent year-on-year to N6,164 in September 2021 from N4,514 in August 2021.
