President Muhammadu has reappointed Prof Umar Garba Danbatta as Executive Vice Chairman of Nigerian Communications Commission.In a statement by Uwa Suleiman, spokesperson for the minister, Pantami directed Prof Danbatta to improve the overall performance of the commission as well as ensure that adequate mechanisms were put in place to facilitate the implementation of all policies of the Federal Government through the Ministry.

The minister also enjoined him to ensure that the interest of telecommunication consumers, Nigerians and investors were adequately protected.
