A Ghanaian police officer identified as Corporal Roland Agbovi Tetteh, has been arrested for allegedly raping a suspected thief in custody. The policeman from Asutuare was accused of raping a 17-year-old girl who was brought to the police station for allegedly stealing from her ex-boyfriend.
In Precious’ statement, the officer started harassing her by handling her breast, which she resisted. This continued and pushed her into fleeing from custody while being led back to her cell, but she was rearrested and placed back.
