CP Babaji Sunday announced the arrest in a brief on recent successes by the command’s operatives.
He said detectives from the anti-violent crime section arrested Wasiu for obtaining money under false pretence. The 45-year-old was said to have fraudulently obtained money from his victims under the guise of fortune telling.Also, operatives from the Bwari Division foiled a kidnap attempt by Nyale Kachia, Sani Damina and Yusuf Samaila.Exhibits recovered from the suspects include one machete and two sticks.The suspect admitted to his crime of supplying food items and drugs to kidnappers in the area.
